five thousand two hundred and forty seven miles. this is how many miles separate me from my sister rachel according to geobytes.com. everytime i think about it i want to cry...long distance relationships suck period. not only do i miss her, but i miss paul (my brother-in-law), nephew dillon (three years old) and soon to be neice or nephew (due any day now). we talk often and try to skype here and there but it is just not the same.

here are some of my favorite shots from a family photo shoot at the old dairy farm in fillmore with joy harmon my all time favorite photographer :)

today i took my mom (nanasan) to lax for the twelve hour flight to manchester - she is visiting for the next five weeks and will be there to welcome the newest addition to the hearne family (we can't wait!!). i pulled away from the terminal in tears bummed that i could not be boarding the plane and taking flight...

rach i miss you more than words can say and i wish you all the best with your upcoming birth (we are there with you in spirit!)

can't wait to meet this little one!!

Oh, yes . .. and how she misses you, Isa and the babies . . . Today is a rainy day. Her birthday. Wow, I remember the very day she was born. So many years have gone by. Now she waits for her baby to arrive. Cycles of life. Fractals in time. Fleeting moments to be replayed in the minds of new generations to come. An honor to be here for these moments in time.

Thinking of you----oooxxx Nanasan
